Jay & Stacie have been dating for seven years. Yes, seven years! The funny thing is, they didn't even like each other when they met. They actually initially met through their siblings. Stacie was friends with Jay's sister, and Jay was friends with Stacie's brother. Time and a few other funny stories brought them together, and they fell in love. I suppose they were just always meant to be family. Life is full of surprises!
When I met Stacie & Jay, I knew in an instant that I wanted to work with them. Stacie is probably one of the sweetest women I have ever met, and I can see that her heart is full of kindness and love for people....Especially Jay (: Jay is exceptionally charismatic, full of huge, genuine smiles, and eyes that light up when he looks at his future wife. Their love is consuming, infectious, and truly visible in a very tangible way. I found myself grinning with all the warm and fuzzy moments I watched them share together.
I love this couple's style, and if you're having a hard time deciding what to wear for your engagement session I highly recommend that you take a look at the way Stacie put their outfits together for some engagement photo outfit ideas. The first outfit that you see them wearing at The CSU Oval is slightly more "formal", and the outfit you see them wearing at our outdoor location near New Belgium Brewery is slightly more laid back.
One of the things I love most about being a Fort Collins photographer is knowing which locations to use at which times of the year. Since CSU classes are out for the summer we were able to have The Oval all to ourselves.
I am really looking forward to your wedding in August! Working with you two has already been so much fun, and I can't wait to capture more beautiful moments at your wedding.
