It's hard to believe that I first met Christine & Eric about two years ago. They have been planning this wedding for quite some time! With a move out of state, their original plans became interrupted, and I was pleasantly surprised when Christine contacted me again last winter to photograph their wedding this summer. Life is always full of surprises.
I arrived on a lovely cloudy day in Fairplay, CO at the beautiful home they were staying at for a few weeks and could see how Christine's vision finally came together. There were gorgeous, tall trees in every direction, and the most amazing view of Mount Silverheels. It was the perfect place for an intimate gathering of the Bride & Groom's closest family and friends to celebrate their marriage.
Christine designed all of the decor, and many of the couple's yellow and grey wedding details including the groom's boutonnière, and the adorable collars and leashes their dogs Sam & Daisy wore. My favorite detail of the day is Eric's tie! I loved the beer hops design so much that I decided to buy one for my fiancé. Don't worry, he won't have time to read this blog before his birthday next week (o:
Thank you for inviting me along to capture this fairytale you two! Hope life brings you back home to Colorado soon.
