The first time I met Sarah, I knew I would be a great match as her wedding photographer. We met at a Starbucks and had the pleasure of sitting outside in lounge chairs because she brought her dog. Dog people tend to get along with other dog people. It's just true.
To no surprise, we had so much fun together on the day she married Steve. It was a gorgeous day in Denver, Colorado. I mean the sun was shining, and the birds were chirping. It only rained for 30 minutes just before their ceremony in perfect time to reveal the fresh Red Rocks Mountain landscape behind their ceremony site at The Trading Post Backyard.
Their wedding was officiated by Sarah's brother Brian who even shed a few tears as she walked with their Dad down the aisle. What a pleasure it is to witness families share moments like these! Something I feel blessed to do every weekend.
Some of my favorite photos from this wedding are the ones of Sarah & Steve tucked inside Sarah's veil. I love the intimacy that thin, white veil provides. The way they snuggled up with each other was evidence of the bond they have created over the past few years. After meeting on an airplane, their relationship endured long distances and you can see how much joy it truly brings each of them to be together.
Congratulations again you two! Thank you for having me be a part of your day.
