This Strawberry Creek Ranch Wedding is full of love, laughter, and beautiful mountain views. Kelsey & Levi planned their wedding for Fourth of July weekend this year, and their gathering of family and friends to celebrate their marriage is certainly one to be remembered. The start of the day was so beautiful, but to our surprise it actually rained for most of the afternoon! We didn't let the rain get us down, and photographed outside every time there was a break in the precipitation and even sometimes when there wasn't! Alas, such is the weather in Colorado. Forever changing and unpredictable. As a Colorado mountain wedding photographer, I have just learned to roll with it! So if it rains on your wedding day, don't worry. All will be well! I always keep a few clear umbrellas in my car for occasions like this. The rain made for some very romantic portraits of the bride & groom, and the clouds softened the light. Plus, they say it's good luck if it rains on your wedding day! You two had oodles of luck poured all over you.
One of my favorite moments throughout the day was Kelsey's dance with her Dad. They had so much fun, and everyone who watched was overjoyed to see them let loose together. Father-Daughter Dances have always pulled at my heartstrings, and are always one of the best parts of the day for me to witness. I'm a daddy's girl.
Needless to say, these two couldn't have picked a more beautiful place to get married. The sweeping landscapes, the beautiful pond behind the ceremony site, and the barn with a deck perfect for dancing makes Strawberry Creek Ranch one of my favorite Colorado venues.
It was such an honor to photograph your wedding day Kelsey & Levi! Thank you for choosing me to be your wedding photographer. Enjoy your lifetime of adventures together ahead.
