Colorado Wedding Venues & ElopemEnt Ceremony Sites

Still looking for the perfect venue for your wedding day?  I have been all over Colorado from my Home base in the North - Fort Collins, to as far South as Durango.  I have photographed couples on Trail Ridge Road at some of the highest elevations near Estes Park and Grand Lake in the West, to the lovely ranches and flower farms in Lyons & Denver on the Eastern side of the Rocky Mountain Range.  There are so many wondrous places here in Colorado for you to celebrate your marriage with your best friends and your family.  I highly recommend checking a few of these places out!

Granby Wedding Photographer

If you're looking for a refined rustic venue in Granby, CO for your wedding day with a gorgeous ceremony view at water's edge Strawberry Creek Ranch may just be the perfect place for you!  The views at Granby RanchYMCA of the Rockies Snow Mountain Ranch, and C Lazy U Ranch are lovely.  Plenty of mountain landscapes here and golden aspen trees in the early fall!

Rocky Mountain National Park Wedding Photographer

My absolute favorite place in all of Colorado is hands down Rocky Mountain National Park.  It is the perfect host for your intimate ceremony or Colorado elopement.  Did you know it only costs $250 to get married in the park? I know all of the great locations up there with sweeping landscape views that will literally take your breath away.  A few of may favorite spots include Trail Ridge Road, Sprague Lake, and Moraine Park.  If you're planning a Colorado elopement, I would love to help you find the perfect spot to celebrate!

Estes Park Wedding Photographer

The town closest to the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park on the east side of the divide is Estes Park.  Some of the loveliest venues in Colorado are located in this friendly and easy to navigate town and include Della Terra Mountain ChateauEstes Park ResortBlack Canyon Inn, Mary's Lake Lodge, and Taharaa Mountain Lodge.

Fraser Wedding Photographer

In the small town of Fraser, CO you will find two charming venues perfect for weddings in an intimate setting: Wild Horse Inn & B Lazy 2 Ranch

Tabernash Wedding Photographer

One of the most beautiful wedding venues I have every photographed at is Devil's Thumb Ranch.  It's located in Tabernash, CO which isn't too far from Winter Park and Granby.  It is rich in history and is on 6,000 acres of land.

Red Feather Lakes Wedding Photographer

If your top priority in choosing a wedding venue happens to be the ceremony site, I highly recommend checking out Beaver Meadows Resort in Red Feather Lakes.  I'll just say - it's dreamy.

Breckenridge Wedding Photographer

Any ski or snowboard lovers out there?  Breckenridge is enchanting in all seasons of the year and offers a variety of things to see and do year round. Getting married here is a great excuse to return again and again to celebrate your anniversary too. My favorite venues in the area are Ten Mile StationCopper Mountain Resort and Keystone Ranch.

Idaho Springs Wedding Photographer

There's a brand new venue in town and it's called Blackstone Rivers Ranch. It's located right on the river and is only 35 minutes from Denver.

Vail Wedding Photographer

More ski and snowboard lovers?  Maybe just people who love a stunning view.  Either way, you will fall in love with all the wedding sites in Vail, CO that include Piney River RanchSonnenalp,Vail Racquet Club Mountain Resort, and the Vail Wedding Deck.  It's not too far from Breckenridge, and Frisco so there will be plenty of options for your guests to make your wedding in to a weekend adventure of their own.

Aspen Wedding Photographer

One of the most amazing sights I have ever seen is located in Aspen, CO and it's called Maroon Bells.  If you've never been before, you should add it to your bucket list or consider getting married there.  It is the perfect location for an elopement or intimate wedding. Nearby are some lovely venues for a larger gathering like T-Lazy-7 RanchThe Little Nell, and Roaring Fork Club.

Grand Lake Wedding Photographer

This Colorado gem is located on the West side of the continental divide near the other entrance in to Rocky Mountain National Park.  Grand Lake has beautiful views, and if you plan to visit, I recommend taking a stroll along the lakeside with your favorite guy or gal. My favorite venues in the area are Winding River RanchGrand Lake Lodge, and AA Barn.  The AA Barn is only $100 to rent for the day.  Talk about saving some money in your wedding budget!

Evergreen Wedding Photographer

Some of the very first weddings I ever photographed were in Evergreen at Meadows at Marshdale The Red BarnEvergreen Lake House, and The Barn at Evergreen Memorial Park.  If you're looking for a Colorado mountain wedding venue not too far from Denver, you should definitely visit Evergreen.

Red Rocks Wedding Photographer

One of the things I love most about Colorado is how diverse our landscapes are.  Red Rocks offers some really unique backdrops for your wedding ceremony.  I'm also kind of a geology nerd and can't get enough of these formations. Some of my favorite venues in the area are The Trading Post at Red Rocks (talk about an epic ceremony backdrop), and Willow Ridge Manor.

Lyons Wedding Photographer

The Lyons Farmette & Riverbend is one of my all time favorite venues!  If you love flowers and farm animals I suggest you make a visit here.  I love the Airstream Trailer turned chic bridal suite at the Farmette, and the Glamping Tent to get ready in at the Riverbend.  Such a fun and unique setting for your wedding day.  Nine minutes up the road is Planet Bluegrass which is not a venue only for music lovers.  Their ranch property used to host weddings is near the river's edge and has a very laid back, mountain vibe.

Longmont Wedding Photographer

Both Lone Hawk Farm and YaYa Farm & Orchard are lovely in the fall when the apples and sometimes even the flowers are still in bloom.  There are plenty of trees on these properties to catch the fall colors in Late September and Early October.

Denver Wedding Photographer

Here are my favorite venues in the Denver area.  There are so many great ones, but these are all outdoor, and offer their own charms.  In the north are Red Daisy Farm, and the Lionsgate Event Center.  Somewhere in the middle you'll find the Denver Botanic Gardens.  In the Southwest Denver area is the Botanical Gardens at ChatfieldArrowhead Golf Club, and The Manor House.  On the Southeast side is Cottonwood Glen.

Larkspur Wedding Photographer

Just South of Denver and it's surrounding areas are Crooked Willow Farms, and Perry Park Country Club located in Larkspur, CO.  I love this area because it's a little ways away from the city in the Mountains and doesn't feel overly developed.  The Red Rock formations at Perry Park are really cool too.

Windsor Wedding Photographer

I grew up in Windsor, CO and have some serious love for my hometown. The inside of The Big Red Barn at Highland Meadows, is the prettiest interior of a barn I've ever seen, and I used to spend my summers at Pelican Lakes Golf & Country Club with my best friend on "the beach".  Their island ceremony and reception site is different from all the other Colorado venue offerings.

Loveland Wedding Photographer

There's a little something for everyone in Loveland, and what is more romantic than getting married in a place with LOVE in the name?  All of my fellow wine loving brides and grooms HAVE to check out Sweet Heart Winery located in the foothills just outside of Loveland.  It is so romantic and their wine is AMAZING! Osborn FarmSylvan Dale Guest Ranch, and Wilder Nest Retreats are some of my favorite places in the area too.  They are perfect for an outdoor wedding in the spring, summer and fall!

Fort Collins Wedding Photographer

Here we are - Fort Collins, the city I call home.  I have photographed 10+ weddings at the The Tapestry House and know it forwards and backwards.  I love this Victorian home turned wedding venue and it's lovely property.  If you're looking for charm, and class in your wedding venue I highly recommend checking it out.  Lory State Park and Horsetooth are exceptionally affordable places to host your wedding celebration with reservations ranging from $25-$500.

Livermore Wedding Photographers

If you haven't had a chance to check out Livermore, you definitely should!  It's just North of Fort Collins nestled in the foothills off of 287.  There's a beautiful wedding venue there called Eagles Nest Ranch with gorgeous views and wide open spaces.
